Hey, I’m Kyah!

I’m a family taught braider. I was taught by my mom and guided by my sister.

Growing up I saw my mom braid friends and family all while working a 9-5 and I got to see my sister do the same and actually pursue it as a career.

Needless to say I was fascinated with hair at a very young age. I was the kid who was always doing my friends hair, so naturally I was captivated by the beauty industry.

I’m currently a Sacramento Braider here at SoulFull Roots Studio and I’m looking forward to offering so much more!

  • Guests must arrive washed and blow-dried

    If you have recently taken down braids, extensions, or any long-term protective style, please ensure that all dirt, braid sediment, product buildup, grease, gel, or glue is thoroughly removed from your hair or a fee will be added on.

    • Need to reschedule or cancel? Please do so at least 48 hours in advance using the link in your confirmation email or text.

    • Late cancellations (less than 48 hours’ notice) will result in a cancellation fee charged to your card on file.

    • Less than 48 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service.

    • No-shows will be charged 100% of the service in order to ensure compensation for the time reserved for the appointment, and will require pre-payment for future bookings.

    Please note: Appointments are not managed via text or social mediaall changes go through the booking system —where changes can be made through your confirmation email.

  • To reserve your appointment, a card on file is required. This helps keep scheduling smooth and ensures we’re both committed to your time slot.

    • Booking requires a non-refundable deposit which applies to service product, and supplies.

    • This deposit will go toward your final service total.

    • For late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows, the deposit will be forfeited.

  • SoulFull Roots is a cozy space for restoration and care. To keep that energy protected:

    • We ask for no extra guests or children unless they are also booked for services ( children ages 8 and up can be serviced ).

    • Disruptive, disrespectful, or discriminatory behavior is not welcome.

    During your appointment, I may take photos or videos for education and marketing — always with love and intention. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let us know.
